Duo xp, and or Light blue xp in groups

Recently , and actually a lot of my play time is been solo lately. Why? because its pretty hard for my 64 pally to even get into a group. Being lfg for a few hours a day is not really my type of fun.

Well you say box, Yes i do have a 62 shammy. But the gap between duo xp and solo xp is quite insane.

Taking on dbs solo as a pally would net me 4-6k xp. While in a a duo group would net half of that.

Taking on lbs solo is 4k. Duoing that would net me 1/8th of the xp.

I believe that lowering this gap of xp would promote, possibly less soloers. Increase the number of 2boxers, which could inturn increase more grouping action.

Yes some of you probly dislike grouping with 2boxers, but it will increase the influx of grouping.

I am not suggesting to make this game easier to level in, I am not saying lower the full group xp bonus, , but I am saying promote the lower bonus, and this will promote more player interaction to help the people like myself( which there are plenty of) start grouping with others.
 
Less soloers and more 2boxing? Are you serious? People only solo while LFG, and that doesn't happen often even at that since grouping is just superior. And for more 2boxers...I thought I was the only player on this server who doesn't 2box. Light blues are way too easy for groups to still split the xp. It is nice we can still get some xp for mobs who are so trivial. If rogues can solo for xp, then pretty much any class can. Soloing is only meant to waste time when you cannot get a group.

Also, 2boxing can sometimes hinder finding a group as it takes a minimum of 3 people to have a full group, and they don't need anyone else.
 
You are aware of the fact that LBs give you a bonus on xp if you solo them to make it possible to solo & get some xp from it? You know, not everyon want/can 2box (wich is considered a "necessary evil" anyways).

Also, why do you kill LBs while 2boxing? you really should be able to duo DBs. (Try orc fort in EW)
 
The LB xp while soloing is actually a bonus for people who do not 2box so they can actually get a decent amount of xp compared to duos
 
You get half the xp duoing as soloing because you should be able to kill 2x (at least) as fast.
 
get your 2 in an adventure band and then while duoing you get more xp then soloing on the long run.

Not to mention if you ever do find groups you woun't accidently leave your 2nd toon behind in xp. (if your not boxing in the group)
 
In my own oppinion, I think 2boxing actually hurts the group situation, because if you have a good combo, you don't really NEED a group. Even if the xp may be better, and things may go a little smoother, people generally have a tendancy to not do something they don't NEED to do.

I don't think increasing duo xp at all is a good idea, although it unfortunatly hurts actual duo-ers (2 friends not 2 boxers). If there would be any increase in xp to promote grouping, it should be for groups of 3+ only.
