Due to the fact that up until this week i have been able to play WR and know i cant (i get a 1017error but i have yet to update in the last two weeks) i will be leaving. For those in KotF(keepers of the faith im sorry),but not being able to play WR has made me decide to go back to paying to play. Wether it be SWG,FFXI,CoH,Doac, or any other out there. I love the fact that theres people out there that believe in the fact that if you pay for the software you should be able to play the game, and I hope to see you all again. on another note yes i tryed WRfix it didnt work and no its not my connection it keeps saying im disconnected with the patcher server so i dont know whats going on anymore. But good luck to you all and i wish you all well.

A week ago I've had the same problem as you I cant login due to the 1017 error , first was because ther server went down, but when all comes normally again I tried and the same problem appears, I get disconnected and I crash everytime... so I decided to delete all the wr files and patch again ... I've done it and now I can play again and i can also create another char. thing that has been completely impossible until this re-patch.
Try it again, download all the wr patches and put the into the correct folder, I'm sure that you could play again ... GOOD LUCK
