Druid Suggestion

Alright so heres an observation.

Clerics - Obviously the best healers in the game, and should be.
Shamans - A bit better healers than druids with their lump-sum heals and Heal over times.
Druids - A bit gimped with only the normal line of heals along with a few fast cast heals.

Now I know druids arnt supposed to be the best healers, but even in live I always felt they could use something, different. Not to make them unballanced, but rather to add a certain usefulness to them in a group.

I thought; Why not give them AoE Heal over Times? Such as Natures Clensing or something.

Let me clarify, though. When I say AoE heal over times, I mean something thats a bit weaker than their normal heals, but rather useful for a mob with AoEs. Yes I know clerics get AoE heals which are much more uber, but it could be useful for a druid to cast their AoE in time to buy the cleric more time to get off their heal(s).

Just a suggestion.

Perhaps a line of AoE poison and disease cure spells.

Of course, removing less counters than single target spells of the same approximate power level.

Druids are better healers than shamans because of their 4k heal + group heals. The fast heal druids get, shamans also I get. Also, the slumber is also a slow.

It was just to clear things up. As of current, I have no problems healing, but if Healing Gift would work with the druid CH, it would be super.

I would like the stamina regen from the spell: Group Rejuvenation to be added into the spell: Ancient: Sihala's Gift. (For raiding purposes - too many buff slots! )

Yeah I thought about that, but then I forgot it, but it's a pretty good idea. It will be like the druid version of ancient invis.

Sounds good to me.

Me too. It shall be done.

Just wondering, I understand that on live shammys got a heal over time that slowed movement/attack around their 40 lvs. On WR it happens at lv 60. Is the first HoT mentioned going to be implimented at all in the lower lvs? Just curious. (Sorry if this is off topic...just while were talking about healing, and shammys were mentioned :D )

You're talking about the lvl 44 shaman spell Stoicism, I believe. That spell is the result of a Gulf of Gunthak quest, so if you don't do the quest, you don't get the spell, which in case, you won't get the HoT til lvl 60 on live either. My shaman on live never got this spell and did just fine til Superior heal without it, not to mention the fact that many melee types didn't like to be rooted when healed, especially when a caster may steal aggro and then the melee is rooted and can't taunt the mob off the caster...and I don't know a melee that enjoys being slowed, especially by their healer... So...my Shaman just lvled without it.
