Druid pet nerfing?

Did i miss something in a post somewhere about a druid pet nerf about a week ago?

All the sudden Bigpaws is lower lvl to the point that the highest DS that will stick to him is the lvl 49 shield of thorns. Prior to a week ago i was able to cast lvl 61 shield of spines on him.

Intentional nerf or is this just a bug? Anyone else experiencing this?

It's a nerf to DS, not a pet nerf.

I mean in groups your pets won't be taking damage anyway, so there's no real big deal there. Only time it would really matter would be if you were solo'ing or power leveling a shaman, necro, or mage.
