Druid Fire Dot / Debuff - Glitched?

Level 39 fire debuff: Tarhyl's Fiery Sundering - Lowers fire resistance by 39.

Level 52 fire debuff / dot: Breath of Tarhyl: Lowers fire resistance by 30, and also does 103 damage a tick, damage being its main purpose.

Total Fire Debuff: 69

Level 56 fire debuff: Tarhyl's Burning Disjunction: Upgrade to the level 39 version. - Lowers fire resistance by 64, and does 179 damage.

When I cast the level 39 buff to lower fire resistance, then stack my level 52 Breath of Tarhy for the dot, they stack, lowering fire resistance by 69 and doing over 1k damage in dot power.

If I use the level 56 fire debuff Disjunction, then cast my level 52 dot Breath of Tarhy it gets over ridden, there for making it 1k damage, but minus fire resistance is total of: 30.

I can go with 1k damage and more fire debuff, or use my higher spell that gets over ridden by the dot, and do the same amount of damage, with less fire resistance, there for making it less likely for my fire based nukes to land.

Is it just me, or should Breath of Tarhyl not be over ridding the higher based fire debuff? It doesnt when I use the lower one, why does it with the higher one? Because it does an extra 179 damage? Im sure all druids would agree they'd rather have less fire resistance to land 1k+ nukes, then do 179 damage with a silly debuff that doesnt stack with the dots.

Maybe its the way SoD intended it, but doesnt make much sense. Seems either the lower fire debuff shouldnt of originaly stack'd and it will now be nerfed with other pist off druids looking at me, or that the higher one should be able to stack just like the smaller one, otherwise whats the point, when I can use the same dot and a lower level spell, making the 56 obsolete.

I'm curious as to where your numbers come from, because according to the spell data on the Wiki from the parser, they're way off.

Tarhyl's Fiery Sundering - Resist Fire : 30, Armor Class : 20
Breath of Tarhyl - Armor Class : 10, HP (per Tick) : 92, Resist Fire : 1
Tarhyl's Burning Disjunction - Armor Class : 60, Resist Fire : 55, HP (Once) : 150, ATK : 30

While it is weird that the dot & debuff don't stack, basically either dot, or debuff. If you want to nuke, use Disjunction. If you're root/rotting, use Breath. *shrug*
