Downsizing EQ for small HDDs?

I recently got an Acer netbook with a solid state hard drive. It's 16GB in total size, with a 16GB SDHC expansion slot. After setting up partitions to dual boot linux, I have 9GB as my primary XP partition. My XP takes up about 2 gigs.

I looked at my EQ folder on my desktop and it's huge... 4GB. If I installed it, it'd pretty much have to be the only game on there assuming I want room for music etc.

So, is there any way I could downsize the EQ folder? I was thinking I could remove, or otherwise replace all the music files with dummy files... but that would only kill 200mb.

Is there a list of zones that SoD has implemented? (preferably shortnames, since the files use the shortnames) If so, I could remove any zone files that SoD doesn't need... assuming EQ will actually run with that many zone files missing. I'm not sure if EQ crossreferences other zone files.

Do you think removing the zone files will work? Also if any of you have any more ideas of unnecessary files I could remove, please tell me.

I have reduced an SoD folder down to below 2gb. you can remove every mp3 file as well as all the pdf manuals and a good portion of the very large new zone files. Arrange the folder by size and just go down the list and delete anything you know is not being used.
