Does Taraztu's Healing Flames still drop?

Ive been farming RSm for weeks now and have killed the named 20+ times.

Every time i killed it, the Mask dropped. Not even the Wizard spell.

Is this broke or has anyone gotten it to drop recently?

normally you would hear horror stories of taraztu's back in the day (when paladin /s 4 was the main tank stance)

20 30 40 50 named without a spell was the norm way back when.

I stoped camping him to be honest. I would park a tracker in the zone and if he was up I would go in for the kill. I ended up getting him on my 3rd kill and I didnt want to kill myself.

He's also been left up quite a few times this week.

Ya i must have left him up, because i camped my rog there to assasinate the PH. but its not a easy snipe because i have to clear the mobs nearby or else i get like 10 and die lol

You pull him into the corner of the room with the roamer? and its easy.
 
ya ive tried but somehow theres like 3 roamers, plus 2 in the room outside, plus named and 1 add that i agro . The roamers agro the other mobs and if the named is up it would be hard for me to box this since pali dps sucks and my cleric would run oom hah. i usually kill the roamers and than kill the 2 mobs before i engage the named and the add.
 
It took Lindstrom something like a year of camping him on and off and sniping him randomly to get the spell so don't feel bad. The fact that you are 'trying' puts you ahead of the curve anyway and you will get the spell sooner than later.

I would also recommend getting some magic resist gear as Servant of Taraztu has a pretty nasty lifetap.
 
Mine took me ages. And that was with several friends looking out for him for me. Get an MR resist set and he shouldn't be a hard kill.
