Was bored in #eqemu, here's a little gem for you. I really TRIED to make this guy realized I was joking around.

[10:19] <Wiz> You see, since the storage and AI taxes the cpu cycles/RAM so much, and the vid card isn't really used, we decided to code it so the SQL server mostly used the video memory.

[10:20] <Chris20> so having a faster vid card in the server DOES make a difference

[10:21] <Wiz> Yeah. So does having a webcam actually. We programmed it to make use if the tiny storage in the webcam USB port for some vital info, since it can save data through reboots without storing it on the HD.

[10:23] <Wiz> We don't use sound cards, because that requires Visual Basic runtime files 10.5, and those are a bitch to get.

[10:31] <Wiz> You'll be able to send tells and such to online people via say, AIM, and even control your character with the keyboard.
