disconnects

when i log on i get to do some stuff for like a minute then i get disconnected.

im running the following:
Petium 4 2.4Ghz
256 Ram
intergrated 64 mb video card
DSL connection with router/firewall

i guess it could be the router...any idea wut ports i need to open?
 
I play through a router with no LD problems (nothing consistent, only have maybe one a week). I play through a Netgear, and a wireless one at that. I dont' have any specific ports open for EQ. Generally you don't have to open ports for online games unless you are running a server. :\ that's been my experience.

something i'd try if you don't already stay on top of this is to check and see if there is a firmware upgrade for your router. Even if it is the same ver. you still might try reinstalling the firmware and then setting up the router again real quick.
