I am not a paladin though. I have read the whole thread. I am a druid that somehow ended up with lawful good alignment. I just pledged to Althuna because I was already lawful good. I do not know that much about how to swing alignments or how to change them. I would have picked another deity if I was able to figure out how to alter alignment.

I swore divine light because I didn't want to end up not being able to help my guild in any raids later. Now I see after it's done; that my informed and thought out choice in between a lot of crashes and patches - wasn't made with all the pertinent information.

Now I see there will be quests to change your alignment added in - which would allow me to swear to the Deity I've already begun complex quests for, without having a neg modifier to my specialization stats.

This is a shameless plea to Wiz and other kind GM's who would need to take the time out of their schedules, can you please give us a day or two now that we know this to petition and have our Deity wiped out? I'll wear a dunce cap, and a premature swearer badge and do the dishes for a week.

I understand it said no changes, however there were no options at the time I decided, to change alignments considering I'd finished all my main quest, faction, and silver crown quests.
The announcement that there would be quests put in was made a day after the religion was put in. « on: 10 July 2007, 08:33:15 » and « Reply #10 on: Yesterday at 03:46:47 »

You could always change your alignment. You just needed to do various other quests to give you those alignment points and accumulate them to become greater than that of the opposite alignment.
