Did "Shield of the General" disappear?

My vendor was holding a "Shield of the General" (known before as "Shield of the Vah Shir General") just for fun. I had it overpriced (imo), but it has suddenly disappeared. I'm wondering if it left the item DB for a better life or something wanted to have more fun than me.
