Did anyone pick up Oblivion: Elder Scrolls IV?

I purchased it this week, and have played a few levels into the game. Seems pretty cool, and like the previous Elder Scrolls installment, you can pretty much role any kind of character you'd like and have them follow what ever path you choose for them. Only real complaint so far is the interface, seems like it was dumbed down to be easier played on a console (was released for PC and XBOX of somesort as well.)
Then I read about SOD and re-installed EQ and have a bardling here as well......when it rains it pours :D

  19. See Step 17
  20. Plot trip to nearest Wal-Mart, as they take anything back.

I love this game! Like the gms said today in the motd, it's definitely taking away from my SoD playing time :) My only problem is, I'm having so much fun advancing with the mage guild quests, that I haven't even started the main quest, even though I'm and evoker in the mage guild now! oh well, the same thing happened to me in morrowind :D

yeah, you gotta have a beefy computer to play it though. I bought a new computer with Oblivion in mind. My old one wouldn't come close to playing it. It's worth it though. Definitely a beautiful game.

I got kicked out of the mage guild for stealing all their items as well as their money. Now I have to find 20 dragon tongues and 20 redwort flowers to get back. 15 hours of gameplay later, I have 5 dragon tongues and 6 redwort flowers. There's a mistake you won't repeat twice. ;(

I also stole from the mage guild (accidentally). It took me roughly 5 minutes to just reload and get back to the same point.

Put your Prt Scrn where your mouth is.

installing as I read

I am looking forward to the next installment... I have been playing ever since Arena back when the "3-D" effects were paperdolls that had only height and width but no depth. ;)

here's to Bethesda!

Colosae

me too - it's a great series that is kick butt with every release (except that 2nd installment to Daggerfall.....forget the name, Battlespire or something like that)

I'm seeing a whole lot of babble and no $bling$.. so here's another contribution towards making this thread 56k hell.

Well, I just finished with the Thieve's Guild and (highlight for spoilers) man the last mission is awesome. I didn't get a chance to mess around with it too much, but the Grey Hood seems very cool.

"The Argonian Maid" book was in Morrowind too. They recycled the book for the new game
