I hope it's ok for me to post this, I was just wondering, is it possible to change the desktop icon used for the patcher? It's just that I would rather use the EverQuest icon. Thanks.
 
right click on the icon .. properties .. change icon .. and then browse to yer install dir and select the icon.
 
I can do up to the properties bit, but there is no change icon bit? Am I missing something here?
 
On XP it is under the "shortcut" tab.

I forget exactly on older versions of windows at this moment but will be similar if not the same.
 
You can only change the icons of shortcuts, so put the patcher somewhere you can find it, C:\ will work, then just make a shortcut on the desktop and change it to whatever you want. I've done that many times on ME.
