Deity augs and gate necks

Are deity augs and/or deity gate necks ever going to become faction bound? This would make sense for those who are not pledged to one deity, but have an aug or a neck, but not sure if it is possible. I would assume it would work like other faction bound items, but I really have no idea.

I'm not sure if there would be a point since once you're sworn to your deity you can't change and you can't even engage mobs on the same alignment to damage it.

You can become a pariah, in wich case they should poof (imo).

Or you could have done the quests before religion was implemented. It just seems odd that unsworn characters have augs to a certain deity. Also, going pariah should also make them poof.
