Deepmetal armor

The wiki says all deepmetal armor requires tempering. It used to be molten cores. Is tempering a typo, or does deepmetal only require tempering now?
 
If you read a little more carefully, the ingots require the molten cores. The final combine requires the tempering.

All this is available in the in-game books as well. ;)
