Decreasing Ratmen spawntime in Mistwoods!

I would like to request a decrease in spawntime for the ratmen in Mistwoods. Main reason for this being the farming of Blackbane's used in the brewed red ointments.

These ointments are used for FQ augments, Panterskin armor and Cougarskin armor. Currently the demand on Blackbane is HUGE! And with the current spawn rate (20 minutes) of the ratmen and the rarity of the Blackbane (2 per clearing on avg (if lucky)) its a big pain in ass to farm them. As a matter of fact, the only worthwhile time (for high levels) to farm the stuff is like when were semi-afk, cleaning around the house or something...

The main reason for the demand being so huge is that since the ratmen were removed from FR no lowbie players ever bother to camp them anymore, they either not know where they are or there is not enough to even keep them busy, not to mention they dont have the ZEM in Mistoods that they used to have in FR.

So pls... faster spawning rats :)
 
Could be an intentional bottleneck added? Much like Balsam, only once place drops it and then only at night and not a guarantee as to how many. Perhaps they want to slow the horde of up and coming tailors for some reason?

Balsam also drops from Catacombs, takes a much stronger force then Miela at night, but still. I also doubt they intentionally want to stop tailors from progressing a bit faster. It wouldnt be fair, especially if you compare it to a tradeskill like brewing, where you can buy your way to 175 skill in no time at all!
 
I'll add another drop source for blackbane. Vulfwere in Warpstone and Sundered will start dropping them.

Pretty good solution! Those guys are decently hunted and will provide an excellent new source. Tnx :)

Hehe, works for me - I just found my way to Sundered the other day.

But, I have to say - where are the Ratmen in Mistwoods? I've poked around there a couple of times, after being told they're in the "Southeast" of the zone, and I couldn't find them.
 
Zoning out from Valley of Erimal you would make a left turn and they are between the river and zone tunnel, bit north of the wall in a valley.

Comming from Erimal, walk NW towards Shrouded Isle. You will find them somewhere at a 1/4th or 1/3rd along the way.
 
Just a slight necro post to ask.. Is there a chance for the Blackbane to drop from all Vulfwere in Sundered Mountains? I've killed a few of the lower-level ones - Scouts, I think, low teens - and haven't seen a Bloodbane. Or does that only drop from the higher-level ones - Raiders and so on (which are generally still red to my 16 Druid)?
 
I wiped out warpstone from top to bottom twice to gather some Blackbane for a friend and was rewarded with a total of 6. I think that it may have been added at a fairly low drop rate.

Imho thats ok. Just be glad there is more then at first now! It doesnt have to become super widely available all of a sudden!
