My DE rogue cannot hide. He has the ability, due to the being a DE, but I never trained the ability at the trainer. The easy fix to this solution would be to simply train it at the trainer. However, for some reason unbeknownst to me, it costs 140pp to train his hide up one skill point. That is simply outrageous.
I had a feeling that this was incorrect (obviously), so I made a new DE rogue. He could hide at level one (he got the message; whether or not it worked is beyond this issue) and when he went to the trainer, it cost several silver to up the skill from 50, not 140pp.
So, the issue is only on my DE rogue, apparently. It's certainly an odd one, and I've gone quite a few levels without rectifying it or saying anything, but now I figure I might as well inform someone, or ask for help if anyone has ideas.
