dazzling emerald part of druid starfall

been working on druid starfall and I got 2 of the components and the only one left that I need is dazzling emerald from drakes in goblinskull

I have been killing drakes near gfay for a few hours and havn't had any luck...don't know if I'm doing the wrong thing or i just need to keep on killing em, any info would be a huge help. thank you
 
If it truly is that rare, and not some bug, you're better off saying screw it and just leveling up and camping something better anyways.

Quests for that level range shouldn't involve ultra rare spawns, it's just not worth the time and effort. Unless of course the quest for you is the fun part, then to each their own.
 
If I recall correctly, it drops off a Dazzling Drake, which is a rare spawn (or so I've heard). Might be helpful to get a tracker to help you.
 
I'll agree that some of the camps for the starfall quests are a bit lengthy such as the embalming fluid needed off the named mummy in oasis who spawns once a day and has a PH, but I enjoy questing and was so happy when I finally got both of my items. I saw many new zones and actually got other gear along the way. All depends on how you want to look at it.

Heh... well considering it's for the druid starfall, chances are by the time they are working on that quest they have track themselves. :)
 
Thanks for the help all, I am just gonna continue clearing the zone of mobs until he spawns I guess...The comment about getting a tracker made me chuckle, but thanks on telling me the mob name. I just wanted confirmation that I was doing the right thing and any more info is appreciated

huh? 9 days?!.. rofl no way I waste 9 days on such a crappy quest... isnt it supposed to be kind of a newbie quest? and they make the spawn that rare? f*** it then lol!!!

I'd agree that some of the spawns for the starfalls are a bit too rare. I was very surprised at how common the drops for the new Thurg quests are. I think these may be a bit too easy to find in some cases. A good balance is probably somewhere in between.

lol hmm probably because i started to play 1 month ago.. and anyway what does it matter? even if it was 10 years old its still in here for us to use right? i wont start a new topic if there's already another one about my inquiries(bcuz I know many people hate that no?) and i didnt know it was that old, i dont check the date on the post when i perform a research...

Then you should. Devs keep on modifying the game to make it better. A 2 years old thread will rarely ever have any relevant info in it.
 
...oh well.. ok then, sry bout that folks. will make sure I dont bring up an old post like this one again.
