dark elf enchanter

hey all. i'm desperately looking for a reason to play a dark elf enchanter (over say a high elf, who appears to have superior stats). considering illusions it seems a bit foolish to get hung up on this. but i am anyway. can anyone help me out with a good justification? other than my roleplaying preference?

How about the fact that race stats will affect your character way less than your enjoyment from picking a race you want to play?

There's no need to find a silly excuse, if you want to play a dark elf, that's all the justification you need.

Yea thats pretty much why I rolled a dark elf sk, not because it had great stats, but because i didnt want to be an ogre or troll. Iksar was my second choice but meh.

Aside from Iksar, Dark Elves are the sexist of the races.

You can use the /pet get lost or the corresponding button on the pet window. SoD understands that mastery of charming beings included the ability to stop doing so.

i had a DE chanter **(on live), and yes hide will break charm. however with a skill of (50 i beleave) some times it does fail.

but yes very handy

... if you want to break charm all you have to do is click the button to dismiss the pet and it will then break charm
