There are already groups that ask for active leechers that take no split. There would continue to be groups that ask for leechers that take no split because they would have more incentive to want active leechers; it earns them even more cash!

and there will always be these groups only way to stop them is to make it so there is a reason new players wont join them such as the fact that other people are willing to make a group and split with them.

this thread makes it seem like it is literally impossible to do anything in this game without being oppressed by high tier poopsocking nerd kings. I remember when my character was dumpster trash i made groups for tmaps in /ooc and made my first 38k charm by doing that with occasional other groups in about a month. Thing is in this game you will succeed if you are motivated enough. You still make pretty good money with groups in this game if you go to the right places but the problem is money in zones that can be done by groups of low tier dudes is absolutely abyssmal. And with leeching, when i made people leech while i farmed FR it wasnt entirely because i didnt want to share the money, it was that the people in the group were too much of a responsibility to take care of while i duo'd things. Some people dont like to deal with others and wont invite other people anyways. People will be dicks and it doesnt matter what game you play or what job you have or anything, people just tend to be dicks more often when it benefits them

I was just responding to Cinny's sentiment that increasing cash drops will somehow remove/decrease the presence of leechers. I think it would barely have an impact, if any. Leeching is not just an avoidance of sharing cash. If someone comes to your group they'll likely leave before you're done farming. Then they want a split and that means leaving the zone to go sell and do a split. Leaving the zone to sell mid-farm is not what people typically want to do when trying to get cash all day. No one in your group wanting money? Then you don't need to leave.

And I say that while my personal opinion of active leeching is that it's dumb. Money is the biggest time sink unless you jumped a lot of tiers and can hit the biggest money spots sooner. You will get all the exp you really need before you get your supreme so why would you ever agree to actively get exp without the cash.

Regarding charms: I think they're fine as they are. I felt that way when I swore I would never go beyond a juggo; I feel that way now when I'm saving for my second supreme. This game can already rain money. We definitely don't need more money dropping from mobs.
