Crystal caverns considered for return?

wondering if Crystal Caverns will return to the server since the mining skills has been added, I strongly belive this place will make an excellent place to mine. Was also thinking on kunark areas like mines of nurga will also be a nice place to mine if it will ever be added to SoD.
 
I loved the caverns so much on live. Lev and jump down the big well was a great bit of fun !
 
forget lev i was a druid and prefered to drop down lvl to lvl that way there wasnt a huge crowd at the bottom waiting to kill me they were still runing around i would then run to guards :)
 
Crystal Caverns was one of the best designed dungeons in SoV. However, if you do import it, try removing the ability to levitate in the zone (or have the center shaft dispell levitate).

it only does about 500 dmg to fall to the bottom, and if you fall cleverly enough, you only fall a little ways to the bridge, and then a little more ways.
 
It was a beautiful zone. And the music in the dwarf city inside was freakin' awesome. I went afk in that city many a times and turend up the speakers while I did various house chores.

They could put a nasty, stationary, creature at the base of the shaft?

Encouraging people to crawl down the dungeon is a good thing (tm).
 
Little tip...As a gnome I could push into a corner on the way down and take almost no damage on the way down =P So ya, cancel Lev if you want Buhahahahahaha *cough cough splutter cough* hahahahahaha !
 
It always reminded me of the crystal caverns level on the SNES donkey kong game... Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about here. :p
 
God I miss crystal caverns. My ranger's stomping grounds when he was 30-40 and a great place to get nifty velium toys. It was always a treat to run into those dwarves and think "This is the only time I'll run into npcs in a dungeon and have them con ally."


And yes, the crystal levels in DKC do remind me vaugely of cc.
 
I miss crystal caverns too, was a great zone.

Pretty sure that mines of Nurga is in the game under a different name, unless it was removed, don't remember the name of it, but it used to be accessed in the bottom of warrens. I havent been in that area in awhile, so I'm not sure if its still there or not.
