Crippling Strike AA for Rangers

I was just curious if this AA worked for bows. In the description it states that it allows for a crippling strike to be delivered while in Melee combat and generally that excludes bows, however considering the fact that rangers are most effective with bows i did not see the logic in bows being excluded by this AA without an equivalent for bows.

Any information would be appreciated

I think i have seen a ranger or 2 do crips off the bow shots iirc.

Crippling Strikes do indeed affect bows.

Pinning shot is a chance to stun. You would think that with a name like pinning shot it would be a root, but that is useless as we already have a spell. Maybe Pinning shot's name should be changed to stunningshot?

Only if stunningshot is said with a lisp.
