Crash On New Character Creation

I already have 5 characters, however my client crashes whenever I hit next in the new character rcreation process, I already have distributed the points, and set up the face.
 
I seem to be having the same problem. I can get to the char select screen, but after I have used the points and hit NEXT my client crashes. And it says EQclient crash. Any ideas how to fix this?
 
I would go back through and make sure you followed the install guide for WR exactly - perhaps even uninstalling and reinstalling.

I would however start by running the HotFix again.
 
My boyfriend is having this problem as well...

We just installed WR yesterday on 2 computers. I had no problems at all with my computer but his computer crashes during the character creation. So I deleted the EQ/WR on his computer and copied mine to his computer through our network. For some reason, he is still crashing. I can not figure out why the identical application would crash on his computer and not mine. Very weird.

Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated. I am going to rerun everything when I get home from work and post any updates or fixes.

I tried what was suggested and am still having trouble creating a character and going into the game.
