Corruption - make actively engaged mobs immune to it

Heya everybody,

Yesterday, I was fighting in South Badlands and had almost killed a mob when it was hit by a spectre of corruption. So, as a result, the almost-dead mob depopped, instantly replaced by a corrupted (and fully healthy) version. That was somewhat annoying, as I was low on both hp and mana at the time. I did kill it, but I can picture things turning out much worse!

So, if that's possible, I'd like to suggest to make actively engaged mobs immune to corruption. Not a big deal, I know, but still.

Those spectres die with like one hit man. If you see one coming, do your ranger-like duty and kill it...
 
"If you see one coming"... Sure. But they are either invisible or something's screwy with my graphics. :(

They are humanoid shadows

Either way, you can see the names
 
That's weird, I don't see them at all. I distinctly remember killing a few a while back, and the only way I could find them was to track and wait till I saw the name floating by.

Though quite frankly, by the time you can see the name of a NPC, it's typically too late to move anyway. I maintain it's stupid to have the shadows instantly "heal" the mob you're fighting (though I know they don't heal, they simply replace the mob with a new, corrupted one).
 
The shadows aren't hard to miss. I dont see the problem with the OP's suggestion nor do I understand the shitty suggestions given to the OP so far.

Avoiding them is pretty shitty, I agree.

I agree. If Wiz wants it so it "heals" the mob then so be it. Otherwise its a valid suggestion and does not need to be treated as if it is not.
