Convince wife to play SoD

Any of you guys out there able to convince your wife or girlfriend to play???? I could really use some ideas haha
 
You sit at this stupid game evening after evening, getting her more and more pissed. Then you let her play your druid to heal your beastlord. She gets even more pissed cus a healer is so damn boring and then she makes her own beastlord and starts leveling, exping and all of the sudden plays more then you do.

At least that is how my hubby did it.

its simple supply and demand, if people will pay it then how can you blame the vendor?
 
And she's always been amazing at supplying to her guildmates cost free - which, when you are guilded with a bunch of slackfaces like she usually is, it's a lot of loss on her end.

Plus, I'd rather get an expensive lap dance from the hotter lady even though I could get a cheaper one from the 40-something who is hiding her c-section scars with too much glitter.

But yeah, Agik's husband had the strategy that usually works on the ladies that would otherwise not have decided to play these games on their own - worked for me as well. Just be careful what kind of monster you make, she might end up stealing your loots ;)
 
Hehe, my wife mains a cleric, and loves healing! She just does not want to play for more than 2 hours at a time. We do switch it up from time to time and play some twinks occasionally. So I get to stand back and heal, and she gets to bitch at me for trying to do some DPS instead of just watching the health bars.
 
If I had a wife, I would probably slap her every time she failed to keep my casters alive. Then she would apologize and make me a sandwich.
 
How Agik got dragged into the game is exactly how I got my wife playing MMO's, unfortunately, she doesn't like the graphics in SoD.

But she's an avid City of Heroes/Villains and Champions Online player. :)
 
I just told my girlfriend, whether you like it or not I enjoy playing SoD, so either join me or pack up your crap and have a nice day. So that's the story about how I got stuck with my girl.
 
I'm a girl, so I dunno if this counts, but with any game that I want my boyfriend to play with me I explain to him the awesome qualities and let him run around on a high level character, and explain that with some time he can do all this great stuff and more on his own character. Then he's hooked like no other :p
 
But Muffinary, it's already been established many times over that a guy will do anything for his significant other. I even leveled a char to max-level in Champions Online cause the mrs was whining about it, and I absolute abhore that game, lol.
