The item contracting choker was created to assist the large races such as Ogre, Troll, and Barbarian. This item has not been modified since the unlocking of the Vah race. Vah qualify for the large races as well as the others.

The reason I believe Vah should be added is the same reason the other classes are on the item. As a large race Vah take up extra space in bank, block doorways, and make it hard to maneuver in smaller areas.

I am almost sure this was just an overlook in the release and really did not need all the reasons that are obvious but best follow protocol.

Iksar is another good choice for this item. It's really not just a bank convenience, being a large race gets you caught on torches and in doorways and forces you to duck in dozens of places across the game world.
 
I agree that iksars and vah should be added to this item. It is not like shrink is amazing, and the item would take up a bag slot. As people know, illusions don't change your model size, so the shrink clicky would be helpful to navigate through dungeons with tight squeezes.
 
VAH was supposed to be added to this item on the last patch, but it missed the bus. IKS, on the other hand, was definitely available when the item was made. Not having IKS appears to be a deliberate choice, rather than an oversight.

It could simply have been that the item's creator did not think iksar were very big, or had no personal experiences with the race to think they merit a shrink. Just because it was a choice that was made then does not mean it holds true now.
 
I always thought Iksars were a large race as well. I was unhappy when I found I couldn't use it. I was forced into using shrink pots in dungeons (Hi FR and HHK) until I got a new shrink clicky.
 
I'm pretty sure they went off of Live on large races. Iksar were not considered a large race there. Barb, Troll, Ogre, Vah.
 
As Ponden pointed out to be last week, iksars are only a large race in new models, and not old models. It would be nice to have iksars added for those people who use new models, but because it can be toggled if it is an issue, I don't see it as being a huge issue.
 
There'll end up being some manner of clicky shrink for IKS no doubt, it just probably won't be the Contracting Choker.
 
I think every race, even halflings and gnomes should be added to the Choker, but when those 2 races click it they are grown instead of shrunk.

Naw man, shrink 'em. Then throw in a 'walking underfoot" dmg penalty when they walk by a large race. See if they survive a run from MoP to ent in Athica.
