Hiyas everyone.. Let me Start off by saying that i wasnt sure where to post this as it wasnt an idea just my feleings.. Secondly I am not a stuck up person by any means.. I am easy going but as a person i like to not have to deal with other people's problems.. Dont get me wrong i love to listin to people chatting in ooc its fun and entertaining but when poeple start harassing another person in ooc me or otherwise i dont want to hear it while there are filteres in place or not.. I see no reason why poeple have to be ulgy to each other to begin with.. There nothing to be gained by it.. I grew up beigng abused in extreme ways like im sure much of you all were and that is one reason why i dont like to see poeple fighting, calling each other names ect... Its just immaute and childish..

Yes i understand fully this is a free server and Wizzy and his staff doesnt owe anyone anything but when you have alot of poeple in one place "a comiunity" then there are going to have to be some rules like this one "Do not harass other players; indulge in extreme vulgarities, or anything of the like." When i hear someone say to another in /ooc to "STFU" well thats harassment in pure and true form.. Not to say its extremely offcenive because you know the meaning of it and its also a slap in the face because they didnt say (or type) the whole thing.. Plus the filter can not filter out something like that.. Cuss words are ment to insult another and nothing else.. That is why so many poeple do not like language such as that, its negtive and hurtfull..

Now baseicaly I try to stay out of people ways and "treat them how i want to be treated" Yes like everyone else i am only Human and i to make mistakes and loose my temper from time to time but i learn from it say im sorry and try to do better... Thus my next thing is to appolige to Wizzy and everyone else.. I did not mean to come out so blunty and i do not want to leave your wonderfull server.. Its just everytime i try to point something out and yes i know sometimes i could have done it in a better way.. I have been jumped on by everyone and their grandmother... I do not ask for much.. Lol i dont ask for anything except for a little peace sense this is a game and i play a game to get away form real life and the drama it brings with it.. Thus hearing poeple fight and the like in /ooc makes this game like real life.. Thats not fun at all is it? Sense this is a MMORPG to me this game isnt anything without people to play with or atleast if you solo poeple to talk and listin to in a matture manner..


Well that is all i have on my mind right now cept for the seemly common bugs i have encountered but i will search on those befor i post..
Again i want to stress that i do not wish to offend anyone by my feelings and if i did i am sorry.. Also i am not leaveing.. i will stick around and take wizzy's advice and im sorry i said that its just when you play eq live for 3-4 years you kinda of hit the deck when you encounter the same problem again.. :p Yes i know you can have these problems in any other MMORPG but the strange thing about that is i have never been harassed as much as i have in EQlive then in any other live MMORPG's.. Ive played alot too :p
 
As long as people don't get into complete bitchfights, I'm fine with everything. Saying "STFU" is completely acceptable in my book.

That is fine if its okie with you for poeple to say that but sense its ment to be an insult it will cause "bitchfights".. Insulting people in any way only results in fights if it gets too out of hand.. That is our nature it seems.. Sure if your jokein with a friend i can see how that is accepted and sometimes even then things can get out of hand.. Yes people should have freedom but not at the expence of others.. Just like i get offended if i bought something up in /ooc and something told me to "STFU".. That to me is not right and doesnt solve anything..

People are free to say what they want right in OOC or anywhere until myself or another GM steps in brings the hammer down.

See this is what i am talking about? i dont care if you are a GM i do not deserve to be talked to that way.. If you would have bothered to read the whole post you would have saw that i am not wineing and a reply such as yours shows what a person you really are.. Seems now People come to the free server so they can make the rules and bend them to their will reguardless of anything else thoughts even if its a public server.. Ah well i try to be nice and this is what i get for my troubles.. Thanks a bunch.. Now i see why i hate the world so much no body cares about anything anymore..

Now this reply is more productive and i really am glad and i agree but then one could say theres not always a Gm on to spank people when they get out of hand and sense everyone usees /ooc for everything it kinda hurts ot turn it off..
 
Yes, It would hurt to read the whole thing without proper punctuation and spelling etc. If you want to be taken seriously, use paragraphs. Split up ideas by spaces, use punctuation, and further more use a dictionary.

And for the record, that was pretty funny Sean :lol:

EDIT: Wow, I actually went through and painfully read your original post, you say you're not whining, but you are.

How do you survive in real life?

Do you run home and cry when someone tells you to "Shut the Fuck up" because seriously thats pathetic.

You need to learn to deal with these issues yourself and not depend on GM's to police everyone using a cuss word, especially abbreviated cuss words.
 
I could very easyily play just as dirty as people who tell me to STFU bleieve me i have a serious temper and i could call you every name in the book but what does that solve? Excuse the hell out of me if im not the perfact english teacher you all want em to be deal wiht it you do anyway.. If i did start cussing people out and saying STFU everytime i felt like it i would end up getting banned faster then the next person voer whos doing the same thing.. PLls it just brings me down to their level even tho it would feel good doing it.. No if i was wineing i would be complaining every 5 second in game which i dont.. this is the first time ive pointed something like this out and you two who say i am wineing ar ethe ones who are wineing and tleling me to STFU like little babies.. No i am done with this server and i mean it now.. I tried Wiz but now this is becomeing a joke and the joke is on you guys who cant have a simple conversation with foul language or saying someone is wineing.. Seems to me, Kevor, that all you have done here is start up a fight. Just like the ones your complaining about.

Ill say this as nice as I possibly can. Deal with it. Use /ignore if you dont want to hear it. Turn off ooc. /shrug.

Yes of corse you blame me when im not the one doing the insulting.. This just proves my point that insulting people only results in fighting period.. Of corse people seems to not want to be smart enough to resolve problems or have a simple discussion wihtout resulting in insulting each other..

Well, Im pretty sure when you get upset at most stores, the management tries to please you because they need your business. In fact it has happened to me and plenty of people I know.

Is winter's roar a business? Hell no. They do not need your business, they like having people around and a community, but if you can't handle a few people cussing and such. You're not the type of people we want around (speaking on behalf of myself and a couple friends). Im pretty sure everyone else will agree with me.

I never expected you to be the perfect english teacher, but on a board where english is clearly the dominant language, I would expect you to have a 3rd grade knowledge of it. You don't see me posting complaints on a korean forum. Do you know why? because I can't read, write, or speak korean.

I am in no way discouraging euro players, Im saying when you post something that is important to you and you want to get the word out to others that mainly read/write/speak english. Pick up a dictionary, they have them on the internet now too. Use a spell check or something. It is painful to read. Correct me if im wrong, but *most* languages use spaces to split ideas up. Like "paragraphs".

If a GM is not online to stop the bitchfight, either ask in IRC if someone will log on or turn OOC off. That's all there is to it.
