Connection Issues in the Midwest?

I currently cannot access anything from the SoD domain--site, forums, wiki, login servers, etc. I have tried all of the normal remedies including restating my computer, router, and modem, deleting temp files and cookies, and hooking my computer directly into my router. Nothing works.

I am in St. Louis. Have there been problems connecting in this area? Is it a possible problem with my ISP?

I was just in the middle of the game, went LD, and this happened.
 
I am in Chicago and have had no problem connecting. I stopped playing about 10 minutes ago...
A more descriptive explanation, including any error messages, might help everyone to solve your problem.

I posted the original message from my phone on LTE.

Talked to my ISP late last night and they confirmed that they couldn't reach the site either from St. Louis. After sending them a log of a traceroute, they zeroed in on an issue in Chicago. As of this morning, the issue was fixed. :)
 
I can verify this from last night. What happened is that a route seems to have gone down in the Level3.net network. I assume you probably have Charter? Try unplugging your cable modem for a couple hours, plug it back in, when it establishes a new route it could go through a different trunk and avoid the messed up one.

That worked for me... just for clarity it seems mine went down sometime around 7-8pm CST last night.
 
Oh and I finished reading your post now and see that it's resolved... so nevermind my post :)
