Connection Issue

Hello, I recently wanted to get back in to This game I have only been gone like maybe a total of 2 months....Heck not even that prolly under a month but it feels like 2 =( any way The issue I am having is that every time I click on the server and hit play or press Enter...my EQwindow will freeze and then A.) send me to the SOE screen or B.) report back and say I had a 1017 error could not connect to patch server this is temporary...Server is up according to page and currently there are 209 people logged in...I would really like to get on and would like some feedback on this issue...

also I had actually loged in bout 3 weeks ago and was going to create a necromancer I clicked enter world and it crashed before taking me to the dream...

Sounds similar to this. Its an on going problem with no real solution yet. There are some suggestions in that thread that you can try, but I dont think they will work. Some people just have this problem temporarily while others have it more frequently. Hopefully you are one of those temporary people. Anyways lets hope this gets fixed soon (crosses fingers).

yea just keep trying i can log one char in sometime and sit for 30 minutes while trying to log the other in it makes me ;(
