Confusing guild commands

Okay, I've somewhat gotten this down, and still manage to screw it up constantly. To be honest, the guild commands are confusing, and at least one (making a new guild leader) isn't correct, according to Foonie.

Guild commands:
*/cmd guild info guildnum - shows info/current structure - yeah... but you have to know your guild number. /cm guild info works (at least for me as GL), but if you don't know your number, this is misleading.
/cmd guild promote rank [charname] - easy
/cmd guild demote rank [charname] - easy
/guildmotd [newmotd] (use 'none' to clear) - easy
*/cmd guild edit rank title newtitle - Not sure if newtitle shows up when you /guildstatus someone, key issue, because I didn't think it was working.
*/cmd guild edit rank permission 0/1 - Any way to set guild ranks 1, 2 to automatically invite, remove, motd at least? Default name (title) is set as officer, but you still must manually edit those 3 permissions.
*/cmd leader newleader (they must be rank0) - Not correct? Apparently /cm guild leader newleader is, according to IRC convo with Foonie.

While I realize we're working outside the bounds of the basic client, just wanted input on if these are easily fixable, a pain in the arse, or what.

Just curious why we cant use the in game guild management tool? Is it a restriction of the client? Or just too much coding to make it worth the effort?

if i remember correctly Wiz said they had a junior coder that would have the guild management window as assignment!

I really hope this is true. The GM window was badass on Live.

That would be awesome, I am seriously tired of having to run to another zone every time I want to kick Felyn from the guild.

First, don't bump a year old thread. Second, it works. It just doesn't show correctly if you /guildstatus someone.

Will confirm in game, but I redid all my ranks shortly after this post, and had no issues.

Okay, so tried it. While working when I redid mine last year, it now comes up with:

Error: database.EditGuild() failed.

I get the same error when try to change permissions. So... something broke. :(
