I recently found EqEmu(just after the June 22nd EQlive patch), I updated to that and have a work-around to get on Eqemu servers. Anyway's, I can't see a Winter's Roar server anywhere in the list of servers?

I read through some threads and figured out that WR is on a different version or something than the rest of the Eqemu servers, so how do I get onto this server? I would still like to be able to play on the Eqemu servers(I play on that Scorpius2k server alot), but this seems like it would be great to play on to. Do I need to create new folders, or what? If someone could explain it would be great, thanks!
 
I saw that at the top of the thread, but could I still get on eqemu servers after doing that fix?
 
The WR Patcher patches your game for Winter's Roar. You'll be able to play on Winter's Roar but not, I imagine, the majority of the other EQEmu servers, if any at all.
 
Alright, I installed and patched/etc to Winter's Roar. I can get into the server list, but when I click Winter's Roar and then Play EQ crashes to the desktop and gives a memory read error. Also, whenever I try to change the options on models it wont let me check mark more than 2? I have 512mb of Ram, a GeForce fx5200 128mb card, and 2400+ mhz.. that should be plenty(and considering I play on the eqemu servers all the time with full settings with no lag). Thanks for any help!
 
the selection of only 2 has nothing to do with your computer it is a server issue.
when do you crash? playing or creating your character?

It crashes right when I click on the, "Play server" button.

Oh and thanks kaedian.

*Edit* It works now :), after I checked all the models it doesn't crash. Thanks for the help.
