Computer unable to recognize sodbin.exe

Ok, after much malicious searching, I believe i have found the problem i was looking for; my computer simply doesn't recognize that i already have the files sodbin.exe on my computer. My problems began when the patcher continued to stall out when downloading the files sodbin.exe. So i manually downloaded them and saved them to my computer. I know they are there, but my computer unfortunately does not. Anyone know where i should go from here?

Oh, and btw, whenever i now try to open up the patcher, my computer still attempts to download sodbin.exe, but stalls.[/i]
 
Where did you download them to?
If you manually downloaded the patch file ZIP, you have to unzip it to your E Q directory ... your computer won't know that they're supposed to go with the rest of the SoD/E Q files.
 
Also ... may I be so bold as to suggest ... if you have a recurring problem, or a problem which has changed slightly ... don't fill the forums with post-after-post ... simply reply to the previous posts.

People won't know what you're talking about when you say "Ok, after much malicious searching, I believe i have found the problem i was looking for" ... if they never read the original post.
 
I have no way of knowing where you installed "the game" or SOD ...

I would suggest that it's likely you installed it to the default directory ... c:\program files\so ny\etc etc etc ...

You did install the original Game, right?
