Computer restarting

When i log in and almost get the screen where i pick my Char, My computer restarts ;( I have tried to fix it but cant figure out what it is, if any 1 has info on this i would be very pleased to here it. Thank You
 
If your running on XP it sounds like a system crash... XP automatically reboots when a system crash occurs. But if you want to disable the system reboot feature, follow this proceedure...

Click 'START'
Settings
Control Panel
Look for 'SYSTEM' and double left click it.
Click the 'ADVANCE' tab
Click the 'Settings' button in Startup and Recovery
In the 'Sytem Failure' section UNCHECK the 'Automatically Restart' box.
Click 'OK'
Click 'APPLY' (or OK) you might have to restart your computer for the new setting to take effect.

And that should stop the rebooting with a system crash... But note, you will probably get the Blue Screen and your system may lock up and you'll end up having to reboot anyway...

In order of likelyness you could have one of the following..

Bad Graphics Card Drivers
Faulty RAM
Faulty Graphics Card
Overheating
Faulty Power Supply

Try updating your GFX card drivers, has EQ worked fine in the past?
 
Ty for the tips i will try them. The game has worked before in the past all the time, then it started so i reinstaled EQ and it got worse :sadf:
 
You can try to find out if you have faulty equipment by going to the device manager.

Start
Settings/control panel
System
Hardware
Device manager.


If any of them have a "!" beside it there is a problem with that item.
