Computer rebooting itself

My computer is rebooting itself in seemingly random times during game. I am also having problems with lockups.

I had an idea though, could it be a lack of power? I checked and my power source is a 250W but it is running an AMD athlon xp 2800 (2.08 ghz) with a DVD,CD-RW,Media port, upgraded sound card (Soundlblaster 64 or something like it). ATI 9800 with 256 megs...

Is 250W enough for all that? Is there anything else that could be the problem?
 
Eek, you should atleast get a 400 watt power supply, the video card sucks up a LOT of power.

So that could possibly be your problem.

I'm surprised you actually have the power to turn your computer on with all that running.
 
would definatly look at a larger power supply and while you have the case open take a peek for any capacitors that have the tops starting to bubble or leek.
