Complete Crash

Hi, I'm playing SoD on a laptop (or at least attempting to). I have turned off my virus protection and increased my performance settings to use more power. However, about 5 minutes into the game (it runs fine), the entire computer shuts off without any notification/warning. I've looked through these threads for similiar problems and have seen none. ALso the dbg.txt folder shows nothing that looks like an issue. Can anyone help me out? Attempting to use EQ PlayNice in case of overheating. Thanks.

Probably overheating. Likely a bios setting that shuts it down before things get meltingly hot.

ok, i've got it cooling well and running another program. My second issue: the sound. I've gone to eqclient and changed the value to "TRUE".. but it won't allow me to save! Is there an extra step I'm missing?
