Common Issue, but no answers?

I've looked for hours trying to find ways of running 100% graphics on my computer. Yes I have an Nvidia 8600.. I'm not worried about the characters exploding when I run into them. What I am concerned about though is the graphics, such as the terrain, and over all detail is horrible. I turn the graphics on all 3 options (Log in, Client folder, and in game) I can only load 2 models (Yes, I've tried enter, and escape) Still nothing... Every time I go back to the settings it resets itself.

Any suggestions, other then replacing my graphics card?

Your definition of horrible detail and terrain may just be a ten year old game you are playing.

Settings dont reset themselves. They just dont. So something else is going on when you try to change things.
