Collapsable augment kit or deluxe kit with more than 2 slots

I really do like that Locket of Searfire is now a summoned augment, it really increases the flexibility and you don't have to sacrifice your neck slot. The only drawback is that I now have to give up an inventory slot to carry an augment kit with me at all times. The augment kit is only 2 slots which means I am giving up quite a bit of inventory space. I could always buy a new kit whenever I log on but it is very rare that I ever log out in a city and having to make my way back to one whenever I log in to add a newly summoned augment is not practical, not to mention unless you carry a kit, you can't give a searfire to group members either.

Would it be possible to create a collapsable augment kit that would fit inside a bag so that you could summon an augmentation kit in the field? Alternatively, since the current augment kit is only 2 slots, create a deluxe kit with 8 or 10 slots with increased weight and higher price to compensate for the extra storage capacity.

Thanks,

Doesnt the augment become permanent once you use it, so you only need to get it once? Unless they changed this, there is no need to have an aug kit with you, except for the first time.

That said, does anyone know if haviogn two of these makes the effects stack? I assume no, but thought it worth askign anyway.

I believe this is a bug that they are working on fixing.

It's part of the trade-off for having a very powerful augment. Carry an augment kit in order to boost your overall damage output by 3%? Sounds worth it to me.

They do not stack with each other.

I have had to replace my searfire everytime I log in. Was just hoping to make it somewhat easier, especially if you have to pass a single kit around for everyone who needs it or at least give the kit an oppurtunity for dual use of storing extra stuff if you don't need to augment anything.

I'd have to agree that it was a hassle at first (who likes change with the exception of a wet baby, eh?), but I've really just become used to my new routine. I will neck/gate to a town with a bank and do my mage summoning ritual there. I used to keep my aug kit in the bank for when I do this, but recently I have just kept it on my toon, and haven't really noticed much of a difference. *shrug* I'd have to agree with Rab that it's part of the trade off for the 3% boost to DD output, not to mention the gained stats/focus/FT from the open neck slot.

Ever since I started the main quest, I always have the Aug kit on my char(s). Last two slots, Aug Kit, Rune Bag, I take some other Misc. bags but always have 3 slots left open, for either Mod Rod, Decanter (if needed), summoned bags, etc. I don't carry a lot of trash around. And if I group in areas with vendor trash, typically if I get full I just pass the rest of whatever I was going to get off to anyone else in group who can loot it, or I decided what is more beneficial to keep and ditch the rest. I even typically carry my next level spells and I don't have that much of an issue with space. Just be smart about what you carry around I guess.

I usually end up just not carrying one personally, at all. If someone needs it they can bring a kit, got mine by the time i go lfg
