CoI quests in Shadowdale.

I'm having a problem with my CoI aug quests in Shadowdale. I've completed everything in Shadowdale, and failed the one where I zap Ringo to the trail... (Atleast I think I failed it. I ended dieing before Ringo) I returned the next night and hailed the guard. She didn't say anything.

Gimble wont give me his next quest because I'm not advanced in rank enough. Is it possible a flag didn't work on a finished / failed quest?

The last shadowdale quest requires next badge, to get next badge you must do a quest in Thurg involving Harthuks in GD.

Each zone has quests for different faction levels, you can't finish all the quests in a zone without moving to other zones and doing some of the quests there.

If you fail that quest in Shadowdale you won't be able to get the faction XP for it, you can still get the best aug by doing other quests.
