CoD access quest :)

Hey guys, we have just beaten Sepulcher, and there seems to be a small problem gaining access to CoD.

I have all items required for access, however when I speak to Nalansar outside Sep he is asking for a container that I have been informed is part of an old quest that was supposedly fixed.

I have logs and screenshots of all interactions with him and items obtained in Sep. (in case anything disappeared when trying hand ins)

I am on usually too often heh, so I should be pretty easily obtainable in game if anyone needs to have a chat with me about the quest.

this is still preventing us from entering COD even though we have all the parts for the key.

Any word?
 
Anyway a GM could just exchange the new keys we have with the old keys that work untill this is fixed?
 
I don't have the faintest clue how this quest works, unfortunately. Get a GM to help you for now, OR if you want me to fix it, spell out the details of the old vs new quests, like what items it used to need, what items it needs now, what's different and so on.
 
Pretty simple actually. The key used to be obtained by collecting 4 gems throughout the zone, and combining them in a container dropped randomly off any boss. You then took the combined container to the guy outside sepulcher, and he handed you the key.

Now, all you have to do is fight all the way in, and kill the FINAL boss, and he drops a few keys. The old keys you got from the handin work. The new keys, however, do not work even though they look identicle. The name is something similiar to An Orb of Blahblah..... someone else help me here.

Basically all that needs to be done is to have the lock on the COD door changed to accept both old and new keys.
 
Well, this was a big mess. There was no usage or reference to the new drop ANYWHERE, it was just there. What I did was make the boss drop the finished amulet instead, and fixed Nalasar's dialogue. You'll have to petition to have the globe of demonic energy swapped for the amulet of darkness.
 
Don't forget to finish the quest before you try to use the amulet. :psyduck:
