As much as I love the banker/postmaster merge, it seems that one of the most basic features was lost (or obscured, as nobody seems to know it the command, if there is one): the ability to send messages to people.

Was this an accidental omission, a casualty of war (that is, it was removed because it causes conflicts in the new system), or a feature that is no longer desired/required?

I happened to notice this lack whilst sending around 10-dose +30 CHA free sample potions to necros, hoping to include a note informing them of the modest refill price should they find themselves as hopelessly addicted as I intend.

So, if I may ask, why the lack thereof, and are there compelling reasons not to include it that I'm missing?
 
I'm planning to add messaging functionality back, I just want time to code it so it appears like a note you're reading instead of just having the NPC say it.
 
Sweet, I miss that feature, too. It'a always nice to get a post, even though it's jsut someone sending you 4 stacks of fish and saying good appetite :hug:
