CMAL keys

I've cleared CMAL 1 about 10x in the past week. Every time the mob that drops Tomb key (Maklathi the Thought Mage I believe)

Is never up. In the room opposite sides (Opposite sides of CMAL 1) of the twins, i always see 4 mobs on a 30 minute spawn timer (around 30 min), while the rest of the zone is 2 hours.

From the guide that room should have 5 mobs (him being the 5th).

But i have yet to see him in all my adventures. I even have a ranger camped right outside his room which I log in every so often to see if he has spawned... and I yet to see him.

I see twins all the time, but nothing that drops the key to get to them.

Am I missing something?

Maklathi is killed relentlessly, as he is required in the progression of the Vah quest. Just have to get lucky on your timing is all.
And you are a step ahead of me, I never see the twins up.
 
I have seen and killed mage guy 2 times during last 2-3 weeks for quests, so just wait and you will find him up sooner or later.
 
this makes me feel lucky, i solo there a lot with my paladin and thats how i got all the keys, i just stumbled upon the thought mage and the twins all up
