Client not connecting to server browser

I'm trying to log in from the username/password screen and my client wont go past that saying "cannot connect to everquest server", usually when the server comes down i just cant see it on the server browser, but now i cant even get to that... any suggestions?

I am having the same problem; patch fine but get 1001 error - unable to connect to Game Server

My eqhost.txt is:

Seems that you have a firewall/router issue.
