Client Freezing after death - solution found

Hi everyone,

found the solution how to avoid freezing after death in my client, for anyone who has the same problem:

Disabling help windows completely solved the problem for me.

Howto: click on the "Don't show any tips" e.g. in the spellbook tip.
To force this, you can click on the ? in the Window Selector bar, press "Reset Tips", then choose "Don't show any tips" in the help window which pops up, then open the spellbook, Then choose "Don't show any tips" again.

Do a /cm suicide or a /cm refresh to test.

*Edit*: This is only for death freeze problem, not for the random zoning problem. You might want to add a "/cm save" after deactivating help, to ensure that is saved, might or might not be necessary.

Testing this out but my help been disabled since about day 2 of playing.

Also crash on logging in and zoning

OK tried this on Nuchre, crashed on 5th zone

Hi, just for clarification: this is a solution to the death freeze bug, not for freezing/crash when zoning.

If you have both, death freeze and zoning bug, I assume that with this you will still get occasional crashes with deaths, in this case triggered by the random zoning problem.

For me this solved the problem, but I do not have zoning problems.
