In trying to get my autosplit to work, I opened the options menu and clicked autosplit and then, wanting to be certain that it worked, I clicked the accept button in the bottom right corner of the menu box. When I did this everything in the menu box went blank and this error message came up: EverQuest has detected that your client may have crashed. GM-Ritt suggested that I delete my uifile and repatch from the SoD patcher, which I did. When i tried to log in after doing this, none of my chars were there and it showed a warrior. The screen said: load (0 warrior) loading. GM-Ritt suggested that I patch into EQ-live and then repatch SoD. I haven't tried this yet. Any ideas as to how I can get my uifile defaults back or other ideas as to what the problem might be?
 
try downloading the patch files directly. They might have the default UI in. Otherwise, I see no real harm in patching to live and re-patching to SoD unless you aren't on broadband.
 
I patched to EQ-Live and then repatched to SoD. After doing this i got an error message that said i didn't have an MS32.DLL file. Another forum reply suggested going http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/patcher/Files.zip and extracting the files. I followed all the instructions but I still can't get on Kimeya. Another other ideas about how I can get this char back?
