Cleric Runic 1 + Class Tomes

What does the cleric runic pet do? Is it an upgrade do our crappy level 54 pet?
Trying to determine if its worth wasting my guilds time camping the cleric area in PL =P

I saw one class tome gives our 54 pet a group heal upon death. What does the other one do?

The cleric runic one is the raid wide heal that gets you killed alot.
 
Thought that was our second runic Sphere of Eternity? Or is that the one I will get after getting my Prophets Landing Balakan piece?

Sphere of eternity is from baldakans, it heals the entire raid and generated huge amounts of hate supposedly.
 
You are thinking of the Runic 2.. which I don't think is considered a pet.. more like an entity that is placed down and heals people around it... I THINK..
 
I don't mean to derail this too much, but what does everyone think about Tool of the Divine 1? I'm trying to find a reason to do it personally, but I feel like i've got to be overlooking something?
 
Guktore has Divine Tool 2.. and my thoughts on it are:

Only level 2 is worth using. It is only useful on being mana efficient on mobs that do AOEs that aren't huge, but enough to slowly bring your group down.. and can 1 shot your cleric pet. (Level 2 heals the group for 1000, which is a lot better than the 500 from level 1)
