Currently, the only way to check your language skill is to be actively killing faeries/treants in Shadowdale and wait for a message to tell you your skill level (
). These skill-ups can come in bunches, or it can take multiple clears to even get to 1. It would be nice if there was a monster to hail, say, "a fae madwoman" who could just output your current language level so it wasn't a guessing game as to what it was. The skill is needed for opening/looting the "a royal treasure urn".
