Charm vendor dialogue

"Simply hand me the charm you wish to sell and I will give you its full value in store credit towards any future charms you buy."

99% dies not equal full value :hmpf:

Either the dialogue needs changed or the applied credit

It wouldn't hurt to have it say Full value sans a nominal restocking fee to avoid confusion.

I'm not sure how difficult this would be to code, but Thinkmeats posting about the quest reward at the end of the cornerstone quest made me think of it. Would it be possible for the charm Merchant to read the charm you already have, and have a message like:

I charge 5 platinum for charm of the mind, but if you trade me your charm of suck, it will only cost you 4 platinum!

Well I was just going to see how much I needed for my next charm and got the dialogue. I thought the restocking fee must have been nixed and figured I would just turn in my current to see the fixed price then repurchase it until I have the money. Little did I know this was a scheme of the vendor to take extra plat from me! I'm surprised he didn't charge me for parking

I am pretty sure it is less than 1%, granted on a big charm that still adds up. I don't think it would be unreasonable to just have it work like the unbinders, where you can hand in your charm at any time for a PRICE QUOTE. Then if you want to actually trade it in you have to follow the dialogue prompts.

Yeah, I made damn sure I had over the money needed when I went to my 112k or whatever charm, because after visiting the vendor, I honestly didn't know *what* I'd get. I do remember Wiz saying he added a restocking fee.

Since if I ever stop working so much, I'll be working toward my 220k charm, I think this is an awesome suggestion. I could find out how much I'd actually *need* to upgrade, instead of just guessing.
