characters not showing up on friendlist

Several characters of mine are not showing up on friendlists; this includes my own friendlist. It is not a /role problem, nor is it a case of a misspelled name. This has been the case for over a week or two...any ideas?

Check how many people you have on friends. I had that bug a while back when I had more than 30 people on it. Pruning it down brought them back.

I have the same problem. I have like 10 people on my friend's list. One person in particular I have to do a /who everytime. I can't figure it out.

your friend possibly has to trim down his own list---my characters not only weren't showing up on my own, but they stopped showing up on others lists as well...now that I've trimmed my list, I once again show up on my own, and hopefully I will show up on others' as well

I had this problem, trimmed down my list, and ensured my friends lists were trimmed down. Bug went away. thanks for the info

oh never thought about that, friends list use to be limited back in the day. Guess i'll stat cutting names out

yeah, i had quite a list of alts/ people who quit. kinda refreshing to do a little cleaning out
