Character select screen weirdness

When at the character select screen there aren't any side bars to use to create characters and the initial character at the character select screen is named "Load". Underneath his name it says "Loading" and the background is "the dream" style setting. When I first get there he sort of falls from the sky on to a mountain. This is my first character for this account. Anyone know what's going on?

Has nobody seen anything like this then? I've searched google and didn't find anything about it. Do I need to reinstall eq?

Well, are you using EQW? And can you see the entire screen? You might have to move it.

I'm using EQW and I can see the whole window. Where would I move it?

That's quite odd. Never seen that before. Here's a few suggestions to what you might want to do:
1) Patch to EQLive and do a complete file scan.
2) Patch back to SoD, and do a full repatch.

If that doesn't work, try locating the default UI we use on SoD and replace it with your current default.

This has happened to me before. I believe i just repatched SoD and i got the selection sidebar. When I use EQW this is how it looks for me (small screen size with curser locked in the window) until the world loads then it goes to full screen. On the SoD patcher click advanced and repatch all and if that dont work click off EQW and see if that works.
