Character select problems

ok guys i have a problem i log in and it takes 2 secs to get to character select screen which is really od as you all know it takes a min, anyways when i get onto character select all i see is the sky and no character i select 1 of the 2 character's and click enter world and it crashes i have looked all over this thread for problems but i cant seem to find anything, i have repatched several times now and still nothing

Resintall EQ. Because it sounds like nothing is loading, dumping you into a world with no character models, no textures, etc, then crashing when it realizes whats going on.
